Join us for a week of nature exploration in our beautiful James River Park system. Hiking, rafting, learning, playing, art, games, friendship, and adventure.

Typical daily Schedule

8:00 - 8:30
Free Play

Campers start the day with supervised outdoor play. They explore, socialize, and engage in light movement activities to get energized and ready for the day.

8:30 - 9:00
Movement & Mindset Warm-Up

A guided session for hydration, stretching, and focus-setting. Campers prepare their bodies and minds for active skill-building and adventure.

9:00 - 10:00
Structured Skill & Adventure Learning

Campers rotate through instructor-led sessions designed to build skills and confidence:

Disc Golf Skills – practicing throwing, aiming, and strategy
Richmond Roots – exploring local plants, animals, and habitats
Adventure Skills – hiking, biking, orienteering, or nature-based challenges

10:00 - 12:00
Active Exploration

Hands-on application of morning lessons: playing a full round of disc golf, navigating trails, identifying flora and fauna, or completing adventure challenges. Activities emphasize movement, teamwork, and problem-solving.

12:00 - 1:00
Lunch & Cool Down

A calm, supervised break for lunch and hydration. Campers rest and recharge, enjoying quiet social or reflective activities before the afternoon session.

1:00 - 2:00
Closing Reflection

Campers share discoveries, achievements, and favorite moments from the day. Counselors highlight growth, teamwork, and environmental awareness, reinforcing confidence and connection to Richmond’s outdoors.

Weekly Highlight:
All campers will enjoy a river rafting trip on Wednesday, giving them a fun, adventurous way to connect with nature and practice teamwork.

$475 per week
+ $95 rafting outing

Make a Splash with Our
Extended Camp Schedule!

For families needing a longer camp day, our Extended Day option provides relaxed, supervised leisure activities from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Extended day activities may include:

Kayaking or swimming at Brown’s Island

Swimming at Battery Park Pool

Climbing or movement time at Triangle Rock Club

Other age-appropriate recreational outings

$35 per day
$140 per week
