Typical daily Schedule

8:00 - 8:30
Free Play

Campers begin the day with supervised free play outdoors. They can explore trails, engage in cooperative games, or try light adventure challenges. This period encourages curiosity, social connection, and energy building before structured activities.

8:30 - 9:00
Movement & Mindset Warm-Up

A guided session to hydrate, stretch, and activate the body. Campers also set intentions and practice focus and safety awareness for the day’s adventures.

9:00 - 10:00
Structured Adventure Learning

Campers rotate through skill-focused sessions designed to teach new outdoor abilities while remaining safe and age-appropriate. Examples include:

- Hiking and trail navigation

- Shallow water exploration

- Scavenger hunts

- Nature identification

- Connecting with Richmond’s plants, animals, parks, and habitats

10:00 - 12:00
Active Adventure Practice

Campers apply the skills learned in a hands-on way: navigating trails, identifying wildlife, practicing biking skills, or exploring aquatic areas. Focus is on movement, confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fun, safe environment.

12:00 - 1:00
Lunch & Cool Down

A calm, supervised break for lunch and hydration. Campers rest and recharge, enjoying quiet social or reflective activities before the afternoon session.

1:00 - 2:00
Closing Reflection

Campers share discoveries, successes, and challenges from the day. Counselors highlight teamwork, perseverance, and environmental stewardship while encouraging goal-setting for the next adventure.

Weekly Highlight:
All campers will enjoy a river rafting trip on Wednesday, giving them a fun, adventurous way to connect with nature and practice teamwork.

$475 per week
+ $95 rafting outing

Extended Camp Schedule!

For families needing a longer camp day, our Extended Day option provides relaxed, supervised leisure activities from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Extended day activities may include:

Kayaking or swimming at Brown’s Island

Swimming at Battery Park Pool

Climbing or movement time at Triangle Rock Club

Other age-appropriate recreational outings

$35 per day
$140 per week
